Hello Lovers has been producing a unique, described as
“southern gothic” baroque pop sound for two years, in this
current chamber group incarnation.
At center a quartet featuring cellist
Mollie Fischer
(Kansas city conservatory \ guy Forsythe \ Terri lord),
violin Masha Poloskova (conservatory of Moscow),
Pianist \ multi instrumentalist and composer for Austin
Texas’ state-funded Spank dance company,
Andy Hadaway (am syndicate \ Windsor for the derby),
vocalist \ composer J.c. King (Les messieurs du rock),
they frequently have guest performers including
members of ...Trail of Dead, Windsor for the Derby,
Polyphonic Spree, Possessed by Paul James and others,
aiding their solid reputation for inventive
and engaging performances.
Hello Lovers has spent the better part of 2007 writing, performing
and recording their follow up to 2006’s acclaimed
Vanity Fair EP (inchworm records). Tracked at cacophony
recorders in Austin, TX with Eric Wafford (Producer \ engineer
for Voxtrot, Tosca string Quartet, the Black Angels and others)
and at Means of Production studio where they recorded their debut EP.
This new work, a full length LP entitled Gone with the Wind,
is a stunning document of hard work and a prolific year.
2008 will bring the quartet many exciting endeavors.
They will be touring nationally through winter and early spring in
support of their new LP. Their travels will continue to Europe late spring.
