Far too arty to be considered a straight ahead rock band, but plenty 'a rockin enough to break it off in you. These four primed wildcats bring with them the intensity to knock up a mountain and the sensitivity to write it a poem. Their vibe and sound is derived mostly from natural sources.....SEX. No scaled weight of lovie - dovings or documented slathers of exstacy could possibly amount to a single night spent with LMDRock.
After years of leaving clawmarks and piss stains in far off places the band is now based in Austin Texas. The heat, women, and a bit of Texas love has gently slapped them into a strong creative force squeezing from them their debut release L'estase. 15 tracks which slither and wrap around the listener like a snake under an arm. There is a never ending energy on their CD which you feel during their live performance. Those who attend their live performance are frightened by their presence however, those people are captivated by their musical intelligence and language(s). Nothing so heavy has turned a head like LMDRock who may indeed be a group of sexy intellects but appear to continue their humble existences, heh.
Their is quite a confidence about their music which people often compare to The Make Up, Television, GoGo Airheart, & early Prince.
