This is the second installment of our Puppet Series. Features Chicagoans Joan of Arc and Bundini Brown. JOA offer 5 tracks consisting of solid-catchy rhythms, a trip hop track, and an old speech from Bush who undoes the evil doers. Bundini (Bundy K. Brown) covers the Mission Of Burma song ‘All World Cowboy Romance’. His gentle fingers and looping makes for an interesting cover song.

Bundy K. Brown has remained a mysterious figure from the Chicago scene he works in. Founding member of Tortoise, Bastro, Gastr del Sol. Has worked with Grubbs and experimental/improv guitarist Jim O’Rourke. Went on to form Directions in Music with drummer Doug Scharin (June of 44, H.I.M.).
Bundini has contributed to the Sea and Cake’s Two Gentlemen, Aerial M’s Post Global Music, Calexico’s Descamino, and Tortoise’s The Taut and Tame and produced recordings for Isotope 217, Chicago Underground Trio, REX, and David Grubbs. Brown has also teamed up with Seam frontman Sooyoung Park to compose the score for Rea Tajiri’s independent film Strawberry Fields.
